River Hongbao CelebrationsOn Wednesday, 9th February 2011. Venue: Marina Bay Floating Platform. Time: 7.00p.m. to 10.00p.m. Theme of the evening: Active Ageing Night. Kebun Baru CC SCEC's groups - Adult Ballet Dance and Chinese Dance would be performing on that evening. Guest of Honour, Mr. Lim Boon Heng, Minister in Prime Minister's Office.

Official Opening of AMK 3G Centre @ Cheng SanThe Prime Minister, Mr. Lee Hsien Loong would be the Guest of Honour. Date: Sunday,
20th February 2011. Time: 7.00p.m. to 10.00p.m. Kebun Baru CC SCEC would contribute one item 'Tajiquan' and 3 members would participate in the singing competition. At the opening there would be launching of a book on Ang Mo Kio Town Council's 30 years of service. Further details would be advised when available.

Wellness Family Carnival 2011Kebun Baru Active Ageing Committee would be organizing a 'Wellness Family Carnival' in conjunction with the CCC roving exhibition which would be held on Saturday, 5th March 2011 at Kebun Baru CC Hall. Time: 4.00p.m. to 7.00p.m. The programme would include games stalls; inflatable balloons for children, cultural competitions (art and craft, jigsaw), showcase of handicraft, exercise demonstration. HPB, NEA, and Police would be participating. There would be quizzes related to the exhibits and for every submission, a small token would be given. LUCKY DRAW as well. Refreshments and finger food would be provided. Ticket at $2.00 each. Target number of participants: 500 consisting of 300 senior citizens, age 50 and above; and 200 other age groups.

SCEC Appreciation DinnerOn Sunday, 6th March 2011 Kebun Baru CC SCEC would be having an 'Appreciation Dinner' for its executive members and supporters. Guest of Honour, Mr. Inderjit Singh, MP for Ang Mo Kio GRC, Adviser to Ang Mo Kio GROs. Guests would include CCC and CCMC Chairmen and Vice Chairmen, Chairman of Active Ageing Committee. Calling all enthusiasts of 'Line Dancing' to support this first ever event by Kebun Baru at the 3G Centre.

TCM Health TalksOn Sunday, 20th March 2011 there will be a TCM Health Talk in Mandarin. Target of 40 - 50 persons. Price: $1.00. Light refreshments would be provided. Time: 3.00p.m. to 6.00p.m. Venue: Kebun Baru CC Room 203. Talk is supported by Kebun Baru Active Ageing Committe. This would be one of a series of TCM Talks to be organized.
